Pyrrosia hastata

Three finger Tongue Fern

Three Finger Pyrrosia , P. hastata is extremely easy to cultivate. I have maintained this variety for over 15 years and have never experienced any problems with its care. It is a relatively fast grower, and produces very large fronds and after just a couple of seasons a small plant will completely fill a 10 inch basket. At maturity, individual leaves can be 16 inches long and 6-8 inches across at the tip. The fronds are very symmetrical with no twisting of the blade, the lobed section is always divided into 3 segments. It is frequently fertile and often produces fertile fronds with spores. I also have imported several new varieties of P. hastata from Japan, some with divided, lobed and crested leaves. All have been very slow growing and very costly, eventually I may have some to offer.

Offering a limited number of large mature divisions each year.  $35
If interested send me an email.  I will respond with photos if available.

As always you must email me to see if this and other varieties are available.  I usually divide plants in early spring (Feb, March & April) and offer new divisions for sale at that time.  There is always limited number of divisions to sell annually. Click my name below to send an inquiry, thanks
